Responding to the controversey encompassing the withdrawal of $496million to pay for Tucano airplanes in the United States, Falana said the times of expectant endorsements ought to be over in the nation.

As indicated by him:-

"Presidents (Olusegun) Obasanjo, (Umaru) Yar'Adua and (Goodluck) Jonathan were claimed to have burned through N1.5trillion without parliamentary endorsement. We believed that that time had gone for good.
