Reality TV will be dishing out a hot menu in 2018.

Here are 5 reality TV shows that Nigerians and Africans in general should expect in the coming year.

1. King Tonto

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh reveals her vulnerable side in new reality TV show titled ‘King Tonto’.

The show which is exclusive to Linda Ikeji TV, focuses on Tonto’s  ability to balance her duties as a mother and as a celebrity.

In one of the episodes of the show, it is revealed that she has always been ashamed of her body, so she resorts to cosmetic surgery, and the reality TV show does not spare the details.

Television and entertainment are definitely taking a new turn in 2018.

2. The Makun Brothers

Three brothers who rock the Nigerian entertainment industry will be getting their own reality TV show.

"The Makun Brothers" is a reality TV show which will revolve around the lives of brothers, AY, Lanre and Yomi Makun.

While AY Makun is a Nigerian filmmaker and comedian, whose movies "30 Days in Atlanta," and "A Trip to Jamaica," broke box office records, Yomi Makun, is a popular designer, and runs an outfit called Yomi Casual. He is known for creating outfits for male celebrities, while Lanre Makun is a popular event promoter.

3. Big Brother Naija

Ebuka Obi Uchendu, like the last edition, will be returning for the third season of Big Brother Naija.

The show which starts Janaury 28 has prizes worth 45 million Naira up for grabs.

The winner will emerge after housemates have lived together in a home under constant surveillance, for 78 days.

Season 2 was won by ‘Based On Logistics’ crooner, Efe Ejegba.

4. Oyinbo Wives of Lagos

Oyinbo men’s wives will be the focus of a new reality TV show.

Appropriately titled "Oyinbo Wives of Lagos", the show will focus on the daily activities of six Nigerian women, who are married to white men.

The ladies are Oby, Michelle, Linda, Kenny, Oluchi and Beatrice.

5. Gidi Girls

How do young women co-habit and hustle in the city of Lagos?

This is the focus of an upcoming reality show titled "Gidi Girls", from the stable of Linda Ikeji TV.

The series follows five Lagos girls - Lilian, Vonney, Mercy, Precious and Eloho - who through their actions, will show the world their hustle in Lagos.

Filled with glamour, drama, fights, love and friendship, "Gidi Girls" gives more insight into how to be female and make it in Lasgidi.
